Cushion Cover & Insert Size Guide

Choosing the right cushion insert size makes a big difference to how your cushion looks and feels. A slightly larger insert helps fill the cover properly and gives that plump, professional finish.

As a general guide, use an insert 2” larger than the cover size.

For larger cushion covers (20” and above), some inserts can be sized up slightly more for an extra plump look. However, insert fillings vary between manufacturers, so we recommend starting with **2” larger.

A Note About Our Inserts:

Here at The Cosy Cushion Shop, we love a beautifully plump cushion just like you see in our photos. If you purchase inserts from us, you may find we sometimes send sizes slightly larger than the chart suggests.

This is intentional — we’ve carefully tested the inserts we supply and know they work perfectly with the cover size you’ve selected, creating a full, well-shaped cushion that is still comfortable.
